THE CENTER

The Italian Center of Competence for Systematic Innovation gathers a network of Italian Universities and Technology Transfer Centers who aims to research, disclose and promote towards companies and enterprises methods and tools for supporting new product development and technological innovation processes, according to a systematic and scientific approach.

The Center is led by the Department of Mechanical Engineering of Politecnico di Milano and currently operates through Fondazione Politecnico di Milano, where the Center is located.

The Italian Center of competence was founded in 2007 by the following Italian universities:
– Department of Mechanical Engineering of Politecnico di Milano;
– Department of Management, Information and Production Engineering of University of Bergamo;
– Department of Industrial Engineering of the University of Florence.

The Center is open to the participation of other associations, institutions, enterprises or universities, under the approval of the Advisory board.
