Next 26th of April World Intellectual Property Day will take place with the aim to raise awareness at a global scale on public media and SMEs on the fundamental role of Intellectual Property to steer innovation, creativity, business growth, and sustainable development
For the 2023 year, the topic will be ‘Women and IP: accelerating innovation and creativity’ and celebrate the original impact on society and the economy, that rises from the participation of women in the innovation processes and IP ecosystem.
Linked to the event, WIPO has published a competition on the best 10 videos that will be able to transmit and communicate the topic. The deadline for submission is the 19th of March and the winning videos will be announced on the 26th of April and will be awarded an economic prize.
