Also for 2025, the European Commission thanks to the EUIPO and national patent offices promote the SME Fund, offering economic support to EU SMEs for registering IP Rights such as trademarks, industrial designs, and patents for invention.
For the 2025 edition, EU SMEs can apply for the following vouchers:
- Voucher #1 IP Scan & IP Scan Enforcement services, available only in some countries;
- Voucher #2 for trademarks and industrial design registered at national, EU, and international level, up to 700€;
- Voucher #3 for patent for inventions filed at the national level (up to 1.000€) and European patent (up to 2.500€) – THIS VOUCHER IS NO MORE AVAILABLE, DUE TO THE FUNDS HAVE BEEN EXHAUSTED!
- Voucher #4 for new Community plant varieties (up to 1.500€) – THIS VOUCHER IS NO MORE AVAILABLE, DUE TO THE FUNDS HAVE BEEN EXHAUSTED!
Funds are available according to the principle of “first come, first served”.
